July 31, 2009 Weekly Update
Hi,
I’m sure many of you are as
disappointed in the activity on Health Care as I am. When I start to
get down about it, I call or email Brown, DeMint and Graham. I
believe we need to remind them we are the voters – the people they
represent. Keeping up pressure is the only way.
It also reminds me how much we need
people who do represent us in elected office. We have local elections
in Mt Pleasant, Awendaw and McClellanville. We need to mobilize the
same way we did for President Obama. Contact me to get active and
build strong local governments that serve the people.
Congratulations to Peggy Reider for
her appointment to the Charleston County Library Board. She joins
Laura Morris and George Freeman who are also on other Charleston County Boards/Commissions.
There are more openings listed at the end of this email. Please let
me know if you apply.
